Here you will find answers to the most important questions about planning, statics, approval, delivery and assembly of the overtec parapet.
An attic is essential for extending the roof waterproofing upwards at the edge, securing roof structures (insulation, gravel), and serving as a substrate for external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) and ventilated facades. It also conceals installations (PV systems, air conditioning units) and improves the building's appearance.
Within 24 hours of your request, you will receive a complete offer tailored to your project, including a positive structural analysis – free of charge and without obligation.
The height depends on the location, wind loads, and building type. Our calculation algorithm determines the precise deployment potential for your specific property. Contact us for a customized quote.
The overtec parapet can be mounted on concrete, sand-lime brick, wooden ceilings and other substrates – either screwed on or embedded in concrete. Each variant is structurally documented and approved.
The price is calculated individually and depends on height, length, location, and roof structure. Generally, the overtec parapet is more cost-effective than precast concrete elements due to its low weight, allowing for savings in the supporting structure. Request your free quote now.
The panel is delivered with a residual moisture content of 9±3%. It absorbs water but also releases it again. Thanks to a maximum linear expansion of 1.5%, elements can be installed with a 2mm gap. End faces should be treated appropriately during installation – overtec provides all the necessary instructions.
